The purpose of the lecture: to analyze, analyze the contribution, place and role of Taraz in world culture, the history of the study of ancient and medieval archeology of Taraz, located on the Great Silk Road. Also, during the lecture, the history and legends of the historical and cultural monuments of the Zhambyl region, included in the heritage list of republican significance, will be propagandized. The staff of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Monuments of Ancient Taraz" of the Committee for Culture of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan held an informative lecture for 2nd year students on the topic "Taraz in history" at the College of Vocational Education "ALEM", located in Taraz.
During the lecture, Madina Mananbaevna, an employee of the scientific department, introduced students to the unique history of 30 historical and cultural monuments of republican significance related to the museum-reserve, various legends, stories concerning mausoleums. First of all, he noted the history of the city of Taraz, which was a monument of antiquities, a great center of spirituality, has more than two thousand years of history.
Gulmaral Ushkempirovna, an employee of the historical and cultural Museum-reserve, told about the history of the city and its valuable and unique exhibits discovered during archaeological work in the Celestial Empire "Ancient Taraz", one of the objects belonging to the institution in the period from 2011 to 2017.
