On August 8 of this year, employees of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Monuments of Ancient Taraz" under the Committee for Culture of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan monitored the location of historical and cultural monuments of republican significance located in the Zhambyl region. These monitoring works were started from the city of Aktobe (Balasagun), included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in the Shusky district, and continued monitoring the current state of the towns of Merke, Kulan, Ornek, Kostobe. The company's employees also met with local security inspectors, conducted explanatory work on topical issues of preservation, restoration and scientific research of monuments, the work of historical and cultural objects, and specific instructions were given.

Employees of the scientific Department of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "monuments of ancient Taraz" under the Ministry of Culture and sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan published articles by Ulzhalgas Shaizkhan on the topic "advanced example of urban culture in the Kostanay-Talas region" and Madina Mananbaevna on the topic "Merke – medieval civilization" in the historical, educational, literary and popular magazine "Karakhan".

The staff of the Local history Museum of Zhualy district conducted a tour of the mausoleums "Karakhan", "Dautbek" and the archaeological open-air park "Ancient Taraz" of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-reserve "Monuments of Ancient Taraz" of the Culture Committee of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On June 30 this year, the UNESCO Cluster Office in Almaty hosted a coordinating and advisory council between authorized and responsible structures for World Heritage Management. The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Culture Committee of the Ministry of Culture and sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan kumis Seitova, culture specialist of the UNESCO Cluster Office in Almaty Aigul Khalafova, secretary general of the National Commission for UNESCO and ISESCO of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aliya Baisabayeva, chairman of the National World Heritage Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gulmira Mukhtarova. The meeting was also attended by the director of the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "monuments of ancient Taraz" under the committee of culture of the Ministry of Culture and sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Berik Zhusupov, who shared his views on topical issues.

The State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Monuments of Ancient Taraz" under the Committee for Culture of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan for students of the primary school-gymnasium "ABAY" conducted a tour of the Mausoleum of Karakhan and Dautbek – one of the monuments of sacred architecture, located in the heart of the city of Taraz. In addition, the students visited an exoposition consisting of artifacts found in the Ancient Taraz town during excavations in the additional rooms of the Khujra mausoleum. Namely: ceramics, jugs, boilers, mercury pallets, candlesticks, water pipes, plates of green, white, brown color, made under the state of Karakhan. Then an excursion into the history of the city was conducted, presenting the site of a medieval city discovered during excavations in the open-air archaeological park "Ancient Taraz", which was the center of spiritual values.
During the circle, students got acquainted with our historical and cultural heritage, the architectural construction of the ancient city, the history of the city of Taraz, which was a major center of spirituality, has more than two thousand years of history, is one of the largest centers of culture. The main goal outlined in the organization of such an educational program is to teach schoolchildren to appreciate and respect the past, cultural values of our country, improving their knowledge.
